Video

The recommended player is VLC. If you are not familiar with installing codecs such as xvid, it will make it a breeze to play any media type you will encounter on the web due to it's native support (everything's built in). Best of all, it's a cross-platform program which allows it to work on virtually every operating system (windows, os x, many flavors of unix). Others may just want to install the XviD codec or FFDshow and use another powerful media player like Media Player Classic or simply just Windows Media Player.
